For my summer 2021 internship with the Health Finance Institute, I illustrated, edited and produced the first of a series of videos about the Non-Communicable Disease financing gap and the important work that the nonprofit does.
I also have created numerous mini documentary-style, advertisement, and feature videos for my classes, which can be viewed on my Vimeo. All footage and audio is for nonprofit classroom use.
Watch my final project for my video production course below, a mini documentary about the sister choir to the one I sing in.
I have designed several graphics for student organizations and internships. I use Canva, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for conventional graphics, and hand-draw logos using Adobe Draw and my Apple Pencil
I designed this for a blog post about incentivizing healthy living within insurance, for my internship at the Health Finance Institute. This is just a sample of the graphic design work I did for HFI. I did not write the blog post itself.

I often take data about important causes/topics and visualize it in a way that is digestible. Here are some examples of my work.
Depression and Anxiety can have severe effects on productivity. Here is a graphic I created for a blog about this, written by the Health Finance Institute.
I used Canva for the illustrations.
I have always been interested in how access to clean water impacts women and girls, and this infographic shows just a small portion of the impact.
I made this for a web production class, using Piktochart for illustrations and Adobe Illustrator for the layout.
social media campaign
For a web production class, I had to plan a social media campaign for a nonprofit. The one I created was called "Poetry Perseveres," focused on promoting the use of poetry as a means of both activism and solace during the COVID-19 Crisis.
My campaign incorporates the use of Twitter, Instagram, and a professional website, as well as analytic tools.
Alongside designing this website, I have created websites for student organizations, friends, and family, as well as for a journalism summer program. I have also edited websites for internships. I am experienced with Wix, Weebly and Wordpress. In total, I have worked on eight sites so far. See some examples below.
I built this website from scratch, and most of the writing on it is my own.
I built this website from scratch. Headers, the About page and of course, the "Izzy H" page, are my own writing.
This site was already made when I was asked to work on it. From 2019-2020, I re-arranged some tabs and pages, re-designed its header (see above in "graphic design), and updated various points of information.
I regularly make public relations materials for student organizations that I am a part of on campus, such as flyers and social media posts. See some of my work here, including the cover page of a poetry zine for a student organization that I designed, put together, and sent to print.
